About The Spider-Man Season 2 Trailer
The trailer also teased the return of Norman and Harry Osborn, villains such as Doctor Octopus, Chameleon, and Scorpion, and the reveal of Nico Minoru’s magical abilities. Peter Parker is voiced by Hudson Thames in “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” which made its Disney+ debut in early 2025. The series takes place outside the MCU, meaning its Spider-Man differs in many ways from Tom Holland’s version. In place of Tony Stark from the MCU, the animated series casts Norman Osborn, voiced by Colman Domingo, as the mentor to young Peter Parker.
Who is Replacing Mary Jane and Ned in the MCU?
This Norman runs Oscorp and grants internships to Peter and his friends, but there is something dubious about his real goals. Instead of Mary Jane and Ned from the MCU, Peter is joined by influencer Harry Osborn and the secretly magical Nico Minoru in the animated series. Joining the cast are Eugene Byrd portraying a young Tombstone, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius, Charlie Cox returning as Daredevil, Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, Aleks Le as Amadeus Cho, and Jonathan Medina as Scorpion. Season 1 of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” concluded with multiple cliffhangers.
Doctor Strange, voiced by Robert Atkin Downes, assisted Spider-Man in battling the Venom symbiote that came from another dimension. Norman Osborn covertly held onto a fragment of the symbiote to conduct experiments. Meanwhile, Peter learns that his father, Richard, is alive and in prison, not deceased as believed.
