Daniel Audette leads the offence, Rocket edge Moose 6-5 in shootout

WINNIPEG — Daniel Audette had two goals and an assist in regulation, then scored the only goal of the shootout as the Laval Rocket edged the Manitoba Moose 6-5 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Alex Belzile, Antoine Waked and Nikita Jevpalovs also scored for the Rocket (16-17-6), who trailed 4-3 heading into the third period.

Brent Pedersen, Jansen Harkins, Michael Spacek, Logan Stanley and Marko Dano found the back of the net for the Moose (15-19-2).

Charlie Lindgren made 29 saves for the win as Eric Comrie stopped 31 shots in a losing cause.

Laval went 3 for 5 on the power play while Manitoba finished 2 for 7.
