This is the 5th year of the Melita Donor’s Choice Mail-Out Campaign. Once again, it is a single appeal post office box canvass. Donation/pledge sheets will be placed in the Melita mailboxes on April 1. Extra donation sheets will be available at the Melita Sunrise Credit Union.
Donors may take their completed donation sheets to the Melita Sunrise Credit Union to receive an immediate tax-deductible receipt. The Donor’s Choice Committee greatly appreciates the staff of the Melita Sunrise Credit Union who assists with administering Donor’s Choice donations.
Donations may be mailed in and a receipt will be issued at a later date. If you choose to mail in your donation, it would be appreciated if you would include a self-addressed stamped envelope to receive your receipt. This would help keeps our costs down.
Donations are accepted year round. You just need an official Donor’s Choice donation/pledge sheet. If you do not receive one, the staff at the Melita Sunrise Credit Union will gladly provide one for you.
April is the month we have chosen to promote the Donor’s Choice option but please feel free to donate when it is convenient for you.
