Melita Farmer’s Market wraps up a successful season

A large crowd was on hand at the final Melita Farmer’s Market for the season on Tuesday, September 24, when the vendors held a Customer Appreciation along with many free draws. Main Street Take Out served Pizza and a Pop and Dawn Kilfoyle served Pie By The Slice.

The Ardron family won three of the prizes donated by the vendors including a Trick or Treat sign donated by Patti Lewis, a Main Street Take Out gift certificate and Tea & Crochet basket donated by Heather Jones. Other winners included Discovery Toys donated by Sandi Wheelans, won by Austyn Arndt; a bracelet donated by Shawna Jordan, won by Marla Arndt; a variety basket of Norwex products donated by Jocelyn Wheelans, jelly donated by Maxine Colwell and onions and gourds donated by Terri Goleski, won by Mary Atchinson; a veggie basket donated by Maria Snyder, won by Grant Philips; a basket of preserves donated by Dawn Kilfoyle, won by Jack Bloomer and a pumpkin basket donated by Heather Jones, won by Evelyn McJannet.

The organizing committee and vendors are very appreciative of the support they received at this year’s Farmer’s Market and look forward to seeing you next season.
