A thought for the day:
We are human beings upon this Earth.
We have our habits and haunts, activities and interests
And now much is beyond our control, something we as humans often struggle with.
As well, things are changing rapidly and we don’t like that either.
There are so many stories, so much on the news.
If we let it, anxiety and stress can grow and grow.
It is a time to acknowledge what we are feeling - stress, anxiety, fear, worry, specific concerns…
To unpack them all. To say “Yes, this is how I am feeling”.
It’s pretty normal. It’s not unusual. It’s just the way it is.
It’s a time to stop, to breathe, to practice mindfulness, to focus on the rays of sunshine, the gleam of the snow or the drip of snowmelt on a warmer day.
It is a time for a walk outside, however far you are able to go, take your dog, if you have one, of course!
It is a time to take care not only physically but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It is a time to distance ourselves but also to be in touch with one another, however we can be.
We are human beings on this Earth. It may feel stressful right now but take the time to breathe, to meditate… and to let it all go…
Wishing everyone peace and calmness as we get through this time together.
