Samsung is expanding the rollout of its Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update to even more devices. This time, seven more models which includes the Galaxy A33 are receiving the latest update. Samsung continues to expand its One UI 8.0 update program. The stable Android 16-based One UI 8 update, which was released last week for the Galaxy XCover7, is now reaching seven more smartphones.
The models receiving the update include the Galaxy XCover7 Pro, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, Galaxy M34, Galaxy M35, Galaxy Wide 7, and Galaxy Quantum 3. Seven more models are set to receive the One UI 8.0 update.
Galaxy XCover7 Pro users in South Korea have started receiving the One UI 8.0 update, which comes with the build number BYI6. The rollout is also underway in the same region for the Galaxy A33 and A53 models, with software versions GYI3 and GYI2, respectively. The Galaxy M15/Wide 7 and Galaxy M53/Quantum 3 have also received the One UI 8 update with build numbers CYI6 and GYI4, respectively.
Galaxy M34 and M35 Users Have Started Receiving The Update!
In the Indian market, Galaxy M34 and Galaxy M35 users have started receiving the update. The update is being rolled out with version number M346BXXU8EYI8 for the M34 and M356BXXU5CYI8 for the M35. The update being around 2.5 GB in size also includes the latest Android security patches. The rollout is expected to expand to other regions (in Europe also) in the coming weeks.
What Are The Features of One UI 8.0?
The One UI 8.0 update brings features such as optimized animations, an enhanced Knox Vault security framework, a revamped DeX interface, and the Now Bar, which supports third-party app compatibility. It enhances the daily user experience with AI-powered on-device suggestions, Samsung Notes integration, and calendar-based routines, too. Users who haven’t received the stable One UI 8.0 update yet can manually check by going to Settings > Software Update on their devices to update their devices.
